In high school yes I traveled across the state for my AAU team however the off days of team practice I spent countless hours on the park outdoor court that was not in the best shape because it was close

Why do I love basketball?

World Mental Health day was yesterday.
For a period of time my identity was basketball. I put so much into it and every mistake destroyed me.

We have been in a 3 year transition from D3 to D2 with this past season being the last year.
We would have earned a 5 seed spot to the D2 East Coast Conf. Tournament if we could have played in it.
We thankfully were able to play in the USCAA National tournament and won it!

Thankful for rest
Always tempting to be going 24/7 for FEAR of getting behind but rest is important too. Too many coaches burn out because we always are going- never taking time to reset.
