Happy National Moose Day! It’s a big day for the largest and most popular animal in Algonquin. Weighing in at well over 700lbs their popularity among visitors is well earned with their towering stature! Always be careful while driving through the park especially at night.

An American Marten made an appearance at the @Algonquin_PP Visitor Centre this morning. We were lucky enough to see it climb out of the tree, pounce into the snow to catch a shrew that was tunneling under the snow!
