Yes ! I once told someone I hate when people say they love me. Because it’s never about me and always about how I make them feel. Can’t name a character trait, a habit, nothing. It’s very disheartening
make sure the person you choose can identify individual qualities they love about you vs. them loving what you do for them. I often hear things like “I love how affectionate you are to me” “I love how I can always count on you” no, what do you love about me that’s not about you?
