ācognitively privilegedā - what does that mean? Children like all humans have cognition. āPrivilegeā is a product of social factors. Synthetic phonics in England is the product of a minority of politicians.
@ClareSealy @clpe1 @TeresaCremin Now donāt get me started on that! Phonics, though obviously important, in my view has got way out of proportion. See the new brilliant book by @charliehacking and @Dominic_Wyse due out soon, for a definitive account of this.
