Self reflection is vital in life, and it’s a skill to be able to notice and deal with the outcomes... I get anxious, I over think, I often convince myself I’m not good enough. But I know I do it. I know what to do to make myself feel better, and then I move on.

I have already felt the impact of this delay first hand so soon into role. But it’s not only the impact on the child, it’s the entire strained network that are attempting to support best they can. Parents, families, schools, other medical professionals… the system is exhausted.
