But the explosion in numbers needs some answers. I doubt the figure is quite this high, as does the article, but the fact remains that our education system is not working well enough for too many young people. This must change in 2025.

As we head into the final run remember this. Hundreds of thousands of children are not on a school roll. I've said it before, I don't have anything against home education.
