At 19, I accidentally started a nutrition company, flew to China to meet factories, pitched investors and hit $5M in revenue. Here’s how a joke turned into a global business. 🧵

There is light at the end of the tunnel. This is great news. Another step towards a real, lasting peace, rather than a temporary one.

People are certainly losing the plot. Islamism is a small extremist subset of Islam. Islam is a religion comprising many races. Racism is about race. Criticizing a religion is not racism. Criticizing a subset of fanatics in a religion for their actions is… Not about race.

Dear Internet,. This is why I called Zohran Mamdani an Islamist. And as a reminder, Islamism is a political ideology like Communism. It's not a race or religion, and only a small fraction of Muslims are Islamists

Everyone talks about “building in public.”. Nobody posts the down months, the churn, or the half-finished ideas that flopped.

Watching early founders waste 6 weeks picking a CRM before they have 10 customers will never not be hilarious.

Most people who talk about building in public are actually marketing in public. There’s a difference.

Peak retardism in action. That 🇺🇦 always tells you you are not dealing with a critical thinker- you’re dealing with a tribal fool. Even more so when they disable replies to allow themselves to spew insane ideas without debate. Whether you believe in God or not, there are two.

I HATE having to address transgender issues, but the bad-faith ignorance is astounding.🧵. My feed has been filled with conservatives attacking transgenderism as a mental illness with no legit biological basis. Which is medically, demonstrably FALSE. Yes, transgender women are.

It’s a great case study on impact: the ex wives of Bezos and Gates both got more than $50b each. They don’t invest. They don’t create value. They essentially dedicate their lives to bad charities to make themselves feel better about themselves. What a waste.

It gave me lessons I still carry into startups, investing, and even how I look at geopolitics: . • How to test fast .• How to navigate ops .• Why execution > ideas .• That jokes can turn into products .• And how global business really is from day one.

That business didn’t become a unicorn. But it did over $5 million in revenue, sold in multiple countries, built out private label deals, and landed me on stages like St. Petersburg Economic Forum while still in university. More importantly, it taught me how to build.

One thing stood out: . The factories’ work ethic was insane. We’d get invited to business dinners, and they’d outdrink us while closing deals. The respect for process, scale, and discipline made us rethink everything about how we worked.

So, while everyone else went to Miami for Spring Break. We booked flights to China. Two 19-year-olds traveling across Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. Meeting factory managers. Touring production lines. Learning the hustle behind every supply chain.

Our big breakthrough?. We sourced active ingredients ourselves and shipped them to 3 potential manufacturers. A month later, we had our first batch of real product. It actually worked and people loved it. But we wanted to go deeper. We wanted to see how it was made.

We didn’t know much about CPG or compliance, but we moved fast: . ✅ Hired a brand consultant (not a bad move) .❌ Hired top-tier FDA lawyers (waste of money).✅ Pulled in friends & family as early investors and team We were learning on the fly.

During my first week of university, I was joking with a friend: "What if we made a mint that suppresses appetite?" . It sounded simple, subtle, scalable. Within weeks, we turned that joke into a real product concept. We called it Skini Mints, under Diat Concepts.

One product we worked on in high school flopped. It was supposed to be a sleep supplement but it didn’t help anyone sleep. Instead, people said something weird: "I’m not hungry anymore." That failed product stuck in my mind for a year.
