Alameda PD and the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a suspicious item near 6th Street & Taylor Avenue. All pedestrian and vehicle traffic is currently prohibited in the area. Please avoid the scene. Thank you for your patience.

REMINDER: On Friday, July 4th, all vehicles must be cleared from the parade route and staging area by 5:00 am. Road closures will begin at 7:00 am, with some streets near the staging area closing at 6:00 am. Vehicles parked along the route after 5:00 am on July 4th will be towed.
