I want to design a new soybean line resistant to nematodes. One method takes 6–10 years but everyone’s comfortable buying it. The other takes months, but nobody wants it. If you were me, which path would you take?

Someone gave me a foreign currency a while ago, and I kept it because I didn’t want to change it. Then I told someone about it, and he told me how much that is in Naira… Anyway, how much is land in Ajah?

“Together, let’s hold each other hand in hand for better food and a better future for all in Africa.” That was my closing statement at the World Food Forum Youth Assembly Closing Session @FAO , and it perfectly captures what this journey means to me. #farmerfeyi

Have you heard of a weed zapper before? This is a game changer for farmers. No chemicals, just electricity to kill tough weeds like waterhemp ⚡ I had my first experience with a weed zapper yesterday and it was amazing. It’s perfect blend of ag innovation and real-world impact.

Out here planting GMO seeds like it’s no man’s business. Because science feeds billions while fear feeds egos. #foodforthought #GMO

Frogeye Leaf Spot will humble you. One glance, it looks like Phyllosticta… look again, and suddenly it’s giving PPO herbicide vibes. Sometimes, only the lab can settle the debate. Have you ever had a disease fool you in the field?

I have a question…. 🙋🏽♀️ Why are many Africans so strongly against GMO crops?

What I’ve been up to lately? Nothing too major really, I’ve just been planting soybeans, taking soil samples for SCN egg counts, collecting plant samples for female counts, scouting for diseases, rating plots, and driving all over Missouri for my on-farm strip trials.

Why do farmers use fungicides blindly without even a sign of disease on their crops?🤔 I mean an average farmer I know will spray fungicides on the crop days after planting, with or without diseases.

She’s probably a vendor because that’s a lot of food for a week. Anything outside one week is nonsense. Freezing cooked rice doesn’t work 🙄.
