Imagine an uncle gifting you FPGA kit so you can learn, that’s the kind of culture we need to foster innovation. Children should be playing around with the core fields of engineering. We launched this with a dream that kids could experiment with FPGAs. This is a first step.
My uncle bought a @Vicharak_In shrike-lite! :) It looks so pretty! Takes me back to MPMC Lab from 1st year of Engg. Man, I'm so proud of Vicharak and can't wait to make wacky stuff to include use of this into one of my future games XD Chaak Controller Coming Soon? 🤣

₹349 is all you need to start understanding the basics of the computing world and the semiconductor industry. Trust me, once you get into an FPGA, you’ll love what you can do with it.
Two decades ago, Arduino put a microcontroller in every student’s hand, revolutionizing grassroots education. Today, as Arduino begins a new chapter in another domain, we’re opening the next chapter in education: putting FPGAs into every student’s hand. We’re delighted to

I think the Indian government should remove the 18% GST on all kinds of electronics development kits. The people purchasing these kits are researchers, students, and engineers, and they have to bear an unnecessary extra cost compared to other countries.

Yes, credit goes to both of you, and to Praveen, Devang, Rishik, Deepak, and Tejas from the @Vicharak_In team. Even on the very first attempt, all of you designed it like true masters.
Big day today thank you so much to @tinytapeout and @matthewvenn ! Submitted our first tapeout of actual silicon romless cordic core with @always_ff_rohan @AksharVastarpar

After launching Axon from @Vicharak, we’ve been receiving continuous requests for a $50–60 (₹5–7K) SBC from users. We’re working on it, and I’d like to ask here: what do you expect from it? What features would you like us to include?

This is an appreciation post for Prof. Ashok (IIT Madras). He has always been very supportive of daring entrepreneurs in our country. At over 70 years old, he still works tirelessly, 24/7, to help anyone who needs his support at any level.

To build something great, you’ll have to create partnerships that lasts. Think something, create something and let’s build together.
We believe in startups; they are the fuel of innovation. Vicharak eco-system is slowly emerging from big tech companies to the people who dare to dream. The dreamers, who thought to build cutting-edge CNC Machines, Drones, Autonomous Vehicles, and Robots. If you are also a

Calling all hardware enthusiasts across India! We often talk about building hardware and its ecosystem, but it truly takes a community of passionate makers to make it happen. The ones who naturally love creating and have a drive for building cool stuff. Check out this conf.
Our annual in person conf is happening at @makersasylum Goa! Asylum folks are dope! They have a great makers space, and we are planning to have a Repair Cafe on one of the two days. Find out more about our previous conferences and other details in the post below

I’m keeping the audio as it is because it captures the genuine happiness of four students, Avinash, Vihag, Vedant, and Bhoovaneiu. flying their first drone using our Axon edge computer. These kind of students are the fuel that will skyrocket the nation someday. Bravo!

40 years of FPGA this year, and it’s still amazing about how creatively xilnix founders came up with a solution of packing up every logical expression into look up table which can be reconfigured millions of times and the interconnect which routes to any path the way you want.

We’ve started initially with few thousands logical calculation machines like vaccum tubes or earlier transistors from room size to the trillions of them in our palm right now, the way apple surpassed ibm with server to pc industry, ai’s real future is in your hand at the edge.

I was going thru our old hardware stack and found some of them. Design team took a chance to get the right photo out of it, and I am taking mine to post it here. Building hardware is all about following each step and requires years of iterations and that’s the real fun in it.

@anujdeshpandey We just tested our imx219, 4 lane camera module yesterday. And it was giving us 4k@25 fps, thru some optimisation 30fps is achievable easily. h264 in axon works at 4k 60 fps.
