I made a comment on one of your earlier posts. Back then, I advised you to do proper research so you wouldn’t end up damaging the brand you’re building. Let me take the time to break this issue down for you, starting with one of your recent tweets. I hope this helps you truly.🧵

So I heard PENGASSAN has gone on strike. Funny, isn’t it? You were sacked because you’re no longer needed, yet now you’re on strike. Sacked people on strike—irony at its peak, because being sacked is already like being on strike. Dangote Refinery will succeed. Happy Sunday, fam.

This is MOU reached by Dangote Management, Federal Government, and NUPENG on the 8 September 2025. The Dangote Refinery didn’t sign this MOU under duress. Read that number 3 properly!

I seriously want Dangote Refinery to succeed. I want him to demnistify NUPENG, PENGASSAN & others, but Alhaji cannot sack people on unionism. Absolute powers corrupt ABSOLUTELY!

Dangote Refinery is not above the laws of Nigeria. As we speak, the union will be shutting down NLNG trains and other critical production infrastructure any moment. He really needed to go to the negotiating table and not just outrightly sacking those workers.

PENGASSAN are professional staff (engineers, accountants, supply chain professionals, geologists, lawyers etc). But you see NUPENG (the lower cadre staff like technicians, field operators etc), those ones are more ruthless. And they are the ones that do the “dirty jobs” of day

If you are one of those advising the President and you proposed this g!bber!sh to him as solution to the DR vs PENGASSAN imbroglio, he should just hand you over to DSS because you yourself is a thr£@t to national security. Look at his mouth like moi moi!

It is the parents and guardians of the children who are expected to pay the tax, and as a learned person, you should understand that. You want your child or children to benefit from free education, yet you are complaining about paying a token tax of just 10k? O gbadun!😂😂

It is not employees that brought it outside. It is the mass sacking that made it to the news and made it become national matter. And due credit to the employees for that, for managing it internally and not embarrassing their employer until the sack action came. So, no, it is

@SirJarus Sir, how come d poor working conditions & low pay issues neva surfaced until DR started direct product supply to their customers with their own trucks? DR has been confronted with so many battles in less than 18 months of operations. Shouldn't their survival be our 1st priority?

This was not necessary, it never needed to get to this stage. However, some people have told Dangote that the day he dies - Nigeria will pack up! It’s madness. In a free economy - no business man should deliberately refuse to obey the law. China had to rein in Jack Ma of

When I first saw the letter, I contacted at least 3 different people working in the refinery to get more details. What I gathered was that there was no formal sacking letter to any worker individually. It was just that re-organizational announcement and unavailability of staff
