Remembering Sri Lanka's greatest all rounder that never lived 🙏
He's the first schoolboy cricketer to play ODIs for Sri Lanka in the 1975 World Cup and won the Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year Award twice. His career was cut short by the Rebel Tour but took to coaching when the ban was lifted. Anura Ranasinghe would have been 69 years today🕊️

5 months ago today, I made the best decision for myself and I think some are aware by now (will share the news updates privately) as to why I had to call it quits. BTW this is what my October content calendar looked like in 2023! (Thank goodness I left sports news when I can😅)
I know this announcement is coincidentally timed with Virat Kohli's retirement from Test Cricket but it's been a long run and I want to say thank you to all those who engaged with me on this platform. Now we move at a much slower pace with @thesidelinesLK whenever time permits :)
