This is misleading. CBFC never interfered with OTTs at any point so far. OTTs were always expected to self regulate, they still are. That announcement is pointless. Tandav or Tees still cant be released on OTTs because they will either harass or invoke IT laws to fuck with OTTs
So OTTs can show anything and everything unrated and uncensored because CBFC has decided it will not regulate the content of OTT platforms. It’s really BIG news. 📰

This is why I’ve moved to specifically saying Gen AI and not just AI. There are some ML tools that are helpful but the issue has always been the GenAI companies that mass scraped our data, stole our art, and are building massive data centers destroying our communities.
AI is such an umbrella term it ruins all discourse. Like I assume you mean data-trained generative AI tools and not autocorrect or procedurally generated grass or ML algorithms; we need to use better terms to state what we don’t want just saying ‘AI bad’ is way too general imo
