At approximately 2145 (local) a vehicle left Monohansett Rd, collided with a security fence, and came to rest in a vacant aircraft tie down area. ACK ARFF, NPD and NFD responded and secured the scene. There was no fire or damage to aircraft. ACK remains open and operational.

🚨 PSA from the @AirportACK 🛬 The main runway (6-24) at the airport will be closed on 8/5 from 7 PM - 5 AM for the painting of runway markings; required to maintain compliance with FAA Pt. 139. Expect increased air traffic over town. Painting should not cause disturbances.

ACK is currently monitoring the IT system outage that has affected major airlines like United, Delta, and American Airlines. At this time, no disruptions have occurred at ACK. Possible trickle-down effects could occur.
