Thanks @sweetoblivion26 @IrishTimes for their feature on our symposium on music & incarceration at Mountjoy Prison's Progression Unit. Repurposing the unit, as is planned, is short-sighted & will undo progress through vital community-building work like the InHouse Harmony choir.
"Every single human being in that choir has healed in some way." Wrote for @IrishTimesCultr about a choir in Mountjoy Prison that joins prisoners with women working with SOLAS - special thanks to @AineMaps who is doing research into music in prisons:.

'tis a beauty. Cannot wait to share this with the world ✨.
The manuscript for "#Sound in #Detention" is now with @BloomsburyBooks, thanks to stellar efforts of fellow editors @AineMaps and @raukarna. A dazzling collection of chapters and interludes, exploring how #critical #Listening in places of confinement promotes #SocialJustice.
