Watching Everybody’s Oma cracked my little heart open. Taking afterwards with Jason and Megan was so interesting - these stories of joy and independence in the thick of dementia feel really important.
One thing I've looked for as I do interviews for this #podcast are times & places people feel independent, make choices but are kept safe.' @Ailsawild discusses with Megan & @JasonvGenderen life at home with #Oma - Dementia Podcast, Sn 1 ep 7 #dementia.

I feel like the question of whether it’s worth getting diagnosed with dementia early looms large - It’s so connected to how afraid we are of it. And yet there’s a lot that can be done once we know. I loved this conversation.
In Dementia Podcast season 1, ep 3, @Ailsawild asks @StephenMacfarl4 if there are any negatives to receiving an early diagnosis. Steve says no, it gives the person agency in their future planning. But what's early? #dementia #diagnosis #podcast.
