The Class of 2022 did some rearranging of the library furniture. They were going for an "open concept " look I believe. Well played❤️💙❤️💙Congratulations to the Class of 2022. Go out into the world & do great things. @GoshenCSD @GoshenHSNY

Students in Mrs. Marsiglio's Fashion II class collaborated with the the librarian to learn about basic circuitry and put their sewing skills to use sewing conductive thread to create a keychain with a working switch. @GoshenHSNY @GoshenCSD

Mme. Krish's French IV students learned to use Canva and created buttons displaying their favorite take away from The Little Prince. Students then prepared a presentation in French to share their button design with their peers. Merci @jeri_krish

A11: The best teaching advice I ever received came very late in my career, during a professional development book club on #AuthenticEDU. Maslow before Bloom was the advice, and that is now continually at the forefront of my mind with every lesson I create. #rEDTECHguy

A10: The worst teacher advice I received was "Don't share any personal information with your students." While I realize there's such a thing as over-sharing, I think students also need to be able to see teachers are relatable; that can't happen if they don't know you. #rEDTECHguy

The highest compliment from someone who disagrees with you is not “You were right.” It’s “You made me think.” Good arguments help us recognize complexity where we once saw simplicity. The ultimate purpose of debate is not to produce consensus. It’s to promote critical thinking.

A9: One of my favorite phrases from #AuthenticEDU is "fail-forward". I want my students to recognize that we don't always know the answer right away and it's ok to struggle. It's also ok to persevere. Learning is about the process not always the answer. #rEDTECHguy

A8: I think Choice Boards are a great idea for anyone looking to differentiate their classroom. I think they are a great option for teachers to allow student choice in how they display their learning. They also provide opportunity across many disciplines. #rEDTECHguy

A7: Although I have absolutely no idea what a better solution/alternative would be, I wish inventory could be more streamlined. Scanning and accounting for every item bar coded in the library on a yearly basis is a daunting task. #rEDTECHguy

A6: I think a green screen kit would be "redvolutionary" in the library for teachers and clubs to be able to utilize to create news clips that could then be displayed on the kiosks we have throughout the building. #rEDTECHguy

A5: I plan to recharge over Spring Break by celebrating special occasions with friends, partaking in holidays with family and with friends who have become family, and by taking time to just relax and unwind without any schedule to keep. #rEDTECHguy

A4: Spring brings a new level of energy, especially from the seniors who are getting ready for all of the special celebrations on the horizon. I think we all feel a new sense of optimism with warmer weather and more daylight, and maybe even more so this year. #rEDTECHguy

A3: I'm certain that in my teaching career I have committed all of the faux pas that will show up in this thread today, so out of fear of self-incrimination, I'll pass on answering this one and work to avoid those faux pas shared :-) #rEDTECHguy

A2: One positive thing we should keep in schools post-pandemic is the compassion we developed (particularly for our students) in realizing that we all have different experiences going on behind the scenes. Recognizing that and showing grace should remain constant. #rEDTECHguy
