A brilliant round of games in the Year 8 House Cricket Competition took place during lunchtime today. A packed balcony witnessed some intense action, powerful batting displays and very nervy final moments. A breathtaking final is in store between Stamford and Bradbury next week!

Many thanks to Old Alt - Sumedh, for delivering an outstanding talk about 'free will vs determinism' and 'how to live a good life' from the teachings of Krishna and other 'eastern' philosophies to members of the HSJS Society. Sumedh is currently reading Economics at Cambridge.

Sewa is a key value in Hinduism, Sikhism and Jainism, it is the act of selflessly serving others without expecting anything in return. AGSB HSJS members were fortunate to volunteer with @sewaday at the #ManchesterMarathon by handing out water bottles to the runners. #sewa

The first batch of games in the HSJS House Indoor Cricket Competition has come to an end. The sixth-form matches saw some beautiful diving catches, stunning shots for six, viciously fast-paced bowling and a tragic ankle injury. From the chaos, house Tatton has emerged as victors!
