My dad and I met Chuck Norris when we saw this in theaters and he was really kind to us and we spoke to him for a good 20 minutes and he ended up sitting behind us in the theater. It was one of the best theater going experiences that I remember growing up

It wasn’t a stat padding love affair. This 83 was manufactured and the Wizards were in on it. I love Bam. NBA looks bad.

What Bam did in three quarters…incredible. Keeping Bam in during a blowout, I’m even cool with that. Intentionally fouling up 25 late to get extra possessions to stat pad and eventually break Kobe - of all people’s - record…corniest thing I’ve seen in a while 😂

Fully agreed and look what Bam did tonight was amazing but the Lakers needed 81 of those points to win. Kobe even outscored the Mavs a month before 62-61 and sat out the 4th because the Lakers were blowing them out.

It’s disrespectful apparently when someone in the NBA gets a late basket as time expires when the game is over but it’s not disrespectful that a team can extend a game up 27 to manufacture an extra dozen possessions by fouling and creating an extra 15 points for a player 🤦♂️
