Well done Lar and Donagh- Father and son after playing together for our JB hurlers v Killeagh last night!! The father is adamant that BOTH careers are on an upward trajectory!! Do the jersey numbers tell a different story?!!
And they're off and on their way. They have left Mizen, passed through beautiful Goleen and are heading East through the West! Mighty men, Beautiful morning, Stunning location and Brilliant cause!!
Well the hardy cyclists left from Rostellan early this afternoon and are currently setting up base camp in Goleen. Early night for a 7am start in the morning. God love the fella who has Kiptu sleeping beside him!!
A very special day for our club president John Motherway who celebrated his 80th birthday today on All Ireland Hurling Final Day.
We held an early celebration for John at our club lotto on Thursday night which was attended by a large number of family and friends. Happy 80th John

A massive thanks to the Cork Senior hurling team and management for coming to train in Aghada GAA this morning. A great morning was had by all in bitterly cold and wet conditions.

Passing Carrigtwohill. Along route lots of banners for Tom O Neill. Pearse taking it badly. Johno reeled in. Burst didn't last. Surprise Surprise. No sign of Kiptu. They think he's back in Eire Og poisoning Daniel Goulding. Berry still behind and in danger of missing time limit
We found them! Bros may not have turned up at the marquee, but we found them in Guileen at a certain juvenile mentors major birthday party!! They havent changed a bit!!
Aghada GAA wishes to extend its sincerest condolences to the Palmer family on the untimely passing of Paudie. A brilliant commentator who brought both hurling and football to life in many homes across the county with his uniquely coined phrases.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
Cork GAA are saddened to hear of the death of Paudie Palmer. Paudie has been a brilliant servant to our games over many years. The press box in Cork and around the country will be a lonely place without his presence. Sympathy to his wife and family at this very sad time.
A great win today for our intermediate hurlers in their first group game in the
