How did we get to a point where terrorists can go live on social media, boldly show their faces, issue threats against a state and nothing happens? They threaten and then carry out the killings with no consequences. But let a young Nigerian organize a peaceful protest, suddenly

The bones and burnt homes tell the story. Massacre is real and genocide is ongoing. Truth won’t be hidden or explained away. Scripture says, “For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light.”

Today, February 15, we remember the 21 Coptic Martyrs who lost their lives in Libya in 2015. These men—20 Egyptian Coptic Christians and one Ghanaian Christian—were taken because of their faith. In their final moments, they stood firm, praying and proclaiming their belief.

Thank you @dpatrikarakos for amplifying the injustice done to our people. It's so unfortunate the number of villages that have been ransacked and the people who have been displaced and are unable to return because these terrori!sts have made their ancestral land their home .

There are areas in Plateau State you can't enter without armed escort. This was how we travelled to reach a village that had been attacked: its Christian inhabitants hadn't been back since the day the Muslim Fulani drove them out.

This stretch of Nigeria's Middle Belt - the faultline where the largely Muslim north meets the predominantly Christian south - has convulsed in recurring waves of bloodshed.

Unlike the intifada crowd, Iranians respect Western civilisation and Western police. Unlike the ugly and vulgar "Free Palestine" movement, ours is not a destructive and demonic cause. We are not the same.
