The fight isn’t over however, the rest of the Bill must pass in the new year, we won’t leave truckies, casual workers and gig workers behind. The job is unfinished until that happens.

News Corp (News Australia Holdings) had an increase in declared profits from $140 million in 2020-21 to $180 million in 2021-22 but has paid no tax again this year. #auspol

Big miners and banks paid billions in tax revenue — but fossil fuel companies and their media supporters continue to pay nothing.

This msg from NSW Health sure sounds like COVID is still a current issue. Why isn’t PCR testing available without referral again, self reporting of RATs open and weekly data reporting available? TBH all the state health agencies are sounding a little on edge

COVID-19 cases are increasing in the community. Please stay home if you have any cold or flu symptoms. Staying home helps stop the spread of illness and protects others, including people who are at higher risk of severe illness.

Australian household incomes slumped 5.1 per cent over the past year as high inflation, rising interest rates and bracket creep ravaged household budgets.

This is Miles Jennings, our intern from ANU who did some excellent research to help us map solutions to the massive problems of irregular working hours and last minute shift changes. We are campaigning for roster justice to give workers more control of their lives.

During debate in the Senate about the industrial relations Bills, I had to speak out on the need for a right to disconnect from work after hours for all Australian workers. This issue impacts on our health and our productivity and more and more employers are now recognising this.

Woolworths and Coles are price gouging customers, suppliers, and transport companies while ripping off their workers and making record profits. We have to pack our own groceries and aren't offered a discount to do so. Their greed is fuelling inflation and the poor are destitute.

Nurses, midwives and carers struggling to put petrol in their cars to get to work need to pay their taxes. Why are $billion dollar profit companies not paying theirs? We need tax justice now.

These fossil fuel companies paid *$0* in corporate tax in 2021-22, ATO data shows. Absolutely mind-boggling in a year of soaring fossil fuel prices. We need our Government to step up and tax fossil fuels fairly. #auspol

Big business has too much power, and it's time for that to change. They've profited while price-gouging workers during a cost-of-living crisis. Let's put workers first and get the Closing Loopholes bill passed now!

Statistically speaking, casual workers are often young, often women, often in low paid work. Closing the loopholes would make it harder for bosses to inaccurately classify a worker as casual, and harder to underpay them! Sign the petition https://t.co/q6Xa8PsXaz
