Stop 5 Northern Crop Tour: Northern SD/WC MN Maybe the poorest area this year; lot of excess moisture. Maturity is 7-10 days behind normal. Yields will be good in well drained areas but will suffer in wet areas. 170-180 bu/A will cover many counties in NE SD & WC MN. #cropwatch

Stop 4 Northern Crop Tour: Moody County, SD Southern and East central SD looks great. This area avoided damage and excess rain from recent storms. Planting was early but stands are great. With above average ear size, Moody has a predicted yield of 220. #oatt #cropwatch

Stop 3 Northern Crop Tour: Rock/Nobles County MN Consistency is the norm this year. Stands are good with consistent ear size. Maturity is a week to 10 days ahead of normal. Yield checks ranged from 218-274. Predicted county yields of 225-230. #oatt #cropwatch

Stop 2 Northern Crop Tour: Martin County, MN This year's crop looks fantastic. In 2024, this was one of the worst areas in the nation due to excess rain. Ear size and stands are consistent, stress is minimal. A 230 bu/acre yield is predicted for Martin County. #oatt #cropwatch

Stop 1 Northern Crop Tour: Dodge County, MN Crops in this area look great compared to last year. There was minor wind damage and ponding water. It's possible that this crop will yield 50-100 bu/acre more than 2024. A predicted yield is 235+ for Dodge and surrounding counties.

21st stop was in Kossuth Co IA. This stop seemed to be the wettest one of the tour. Some potholes in fields. Last year this area suffered from excess rain. Samples were suggesting 230, but with potholes in fields it will bring that average down. County should be around 200. #oatt

20th stop was in Black Hawk co Iowa. This stop seemed to have the best crop conditions of the tour. Farmer was thinking it might be one of their best crops ever. Last year yields were great, and this yr without a dry finish should be even better. #cropwatch #oatt

19th stop was in Cedar Co IA. Farmers in this area are expecting similar yields to last year. Last yr was a record at 236 for this county. Will be tough to break last year, but with a good finish it is possible. Last 2 stops conditions have been great. #cropwatch #oatt

18th stop was in Mercer Co Illinois. Last year this stop had really great yields even without a lot of rainfall in August. This year is looking just as good if not better. Massive samples we pulled. This area has had ample rainfall in July. 230 is in reach. #cropwatch #oatt

17th stop was in La Salle Co, Illinois. Samples so far in the state of Illinois are all below last years. Same story here. Not a bad crop by any means, but about 10 bu off of last year levels in this county. #OATT #cropwatch #croptour

Our 16th stop was in Iroquois Co IL. Seeing some stress in the crops around here. Some yellowing in the corn and seeing some weeds. Samples were much weaker than LY. County did 214 LY. Won’t touch that yield mark this year. #cropwatch #oatt #croptour
