These amendments could change life as we know it in Nigeria, and thus, it is very important that we participate and give input. Both legislative houses will be holding hearings with the Senate’s taking place from July 4 and 5, and the House of Representatives, from July 11-20.

These amendments would affect the structure of the country, security reforms, electoral reforms (including moves towards greater gender inclusion), fiscal and budgetary reforms, and reforms to the judiciary.
