Station were struggling to fulfil this fixture, due to a number of players unavailable with covid, flu and injuries. A scratch side was assembled against an unbeaten top of the league side. Pitch conditions deteriorated in the continuous rain as we battled on HT:5-1 FT:10-2. #UTS

The Station was always chasing the game, which unfolded into a heavy defeat against a team that this was not in their form book. HT: 1-4, FT: 1-9.

This was a typical cup-tie where both sides were on top at times. It was looking that Station would have to play the opposition off the park to win the game, which they didn't, but kept at it to take the game into penalties where they finished so strongly to go into Round 3.

This was certainly a game of two halves. An amazing Station comeback turned this game on its head. 1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 3-1 HT: 3-1. 3-2, 3-3, 3-4, 4-4, 4-5 plus a penalty missed somewhere in the goal frenzy. FT: 4-5. #UTS
