You are a fool if you don't think we have a superfluous number of qualified engineers that could work in those fabs. I know at least 10 computer engineers who are working low-level software jobs and could easily pass on this knowledge. Boomers are unaware.
Trump makes perfect sense. We are bringing chipmaking back to the USA and we simply do not have enough of the experienced staff to run the factories, a very complicated process. We need H-1B talent to help us ramp up. Anyone who doesn't comprehend this is an idiot.
