We don’t have pain management drs we have probation officers. After 17yrs I’m still a criminal on probation and my crime is having an excruciating debilitating genetic disorder w/no cure that I take opioids for so I can be a mom/wife and not a corpse w/a GSW 2 the head 😔

I've been told by lawyers that doctors are not doing anything illegal. That no MD is mandated to prescribe opioids. If they offer treatment in w/ any other modality they can say they are treating your pain, even if the 'alternatives' don't work & opioids do. #opioidhysteria

I still say this shit is discrimination on the basis of disability!! I dare them to say such a thing to a heart patient, a Diabetic or epileptic patient. Or how about those at risk for stroke taking blood thinners? Do any of them want to be on drugs the rest of their lives?
Could you imagine this being said to a heart patient? A diabetic? Someone taking antidepressants even! But this is what a person taking pain medicine faces now. Having thinly veiled accusations hurled at them in their doctors offices. #opioidhysteria #PainIsMyLane #screamlouder

Sadly so true, some are even family as well- espousing the PROPaganda! Some with almost full on righteous indignation! To some we are seemingly a source of inconvenience. Some are seemingly ashamed of us- a mighty pious deception, indeed. (Speaking as to my experiences)
This is truly sad and something I did not know about when friends dump friends simply because they take pain meds. This is awful! #opioidcrisis

So as I said my family Dr will no longer see me. Now my PM doctor won't write lyrics for fibromyalgia and neurotin for the stroke I had. So if I have a another one, my hubby will be as rich as Donald Trump. I called a NP so we shall see how that goes.
