Happy 1-year anniversary of "This Heathen Land" @greenlungband. It's one of those perfect albums from start to finish that I listen to on a loop. Great concept and even better execution 🤘 I traveled from Croatia just to visit "The Black Heart", their favorite place.
Green Lung ☺️🤘 These guys are brilliant. They're going to get big in the coming years, mark my words.

Somehow, THIS HEATHEN LAND is a year old today! Thanks to everyone who has made the journey into Occult Albion with us. We’ll be bringing this album’s touring cycle to a grand finale in February with a tour across the UK and Europe. Find out more at https://t.co/2b0ZNlNZa2 💚

Sonia's versatile talent extends beyond Crypta, and spans multiple metal genres - from power metal in Burning Witches, 80's hard rock & metal with her current band Cobra Spell to death metal with Crypta. She's an incredible guitar player. Check it out!

I've talked about my first venture into Death metal world with Crypta and I can't wait to write a review tweet on their two phenomenal albums. Last week, I've got a wonderful surprise from Sonia Anubis who was a guitar player on the first Crypta album.

I'm really hoping for bands to avoid jumping on the AI train. I think anyone can find someone to create a relatively cheap artwork or even create the art themselves. On the flip-side we can now play "spot the AI mistakes" on album artworks, I guess.

This is coming from a band with 30 years of amazing and iconic artwork. I would argue it's close to Iron Maiden levels of iconic. It's sad that the band themselves don't understand or value their own image or fan's appreciation of amazing artworks their music has produced!

One of my favorite bands, Grave Digger announced a new album and I was shocked to discover they've resorted to using AI art. I was disappointed and I decided not to buy the album. It's so ironic for a musician to use AI and not to pay talented artists. Look at this, it's awful!

And what an amazing journey this has been! From writing down a few riffs, to getting a audio interface and recording a few demos, then buying a new guitar and recording and mixing everything properly. https://t.co/ieBtjOM6y5
Picked up this beauty - Schecter Demon S-II. It's incredibly light, it has a silky smooth neck and powerful & crunchy active pickups 🤩 Now I want to re-record and re-mix everything!

This EP is a love letter to the metal genre and my personal bucket list item that I've been working on and off for the past few years. This is a completely earnest, fervent, and fully DIY project...

Very proud to have this copy of the album signed by Prika, Fernanda and Luana. Both bands evolved and reached new heights after. Nervosa focused more on the the trash while crypta more on the death aspect of the genre. It's a win-win in my book

Fernanda and Luana reached a whole new level - Fernanda vocals became even heavier and more versatile while Luana proved herself to be an incredible talent and widely respected drummer. Just watch her in her element, she's incredible! She's 27 years old!

Later on Fernanda Lira and the drummer Luana Dametto (who joined sometime after and didn't play on this album) left Nervosa and formed the mighty Crypta which also became one of my favorite band of the death/trash genre.

The sound is crystal clear and remains heavy. You can hear each instrument clearly and it all works together, even on the busiest and aggressive tracks. The band is firing on all cylinders here, eager to prove themselves among their well-established peers

Prika took over vocal duties only recently on Nervosa's new album. On first few albums, vocal duties were handled by the incredible bass player, Fernanda Lira. Her vocals are tailor-made for this kind of death/trash metal which will come into play later. https://t.co/QnQZbOcWih
