Support is changing! We know many of you have found it frustrating to understand and use the live chat, and having opening hours doesn't match our desire to be a truly global game. Live chat has now closed for good. 🧵1/3.

You'll still be able to reach us for issues with purchasing and other things like normal, while our support team largely focuses on clearing more troublemakers from our game and ensuring more players are reunited with their stolen pets. 🧵(4/6).

This happens whether you say you've been hacked or scammed, meaning more people can access help than ever before! While we test and improve this new system, our out of game Hacked Returns Queue will remain closed. 🧵(3/6).

When we choose to ban someone after receiving in-game reports, that player has 30 days to appeal the ban. If they're unsuccessful, or the 30 days end, any trades reported from that player will be reverted and the items returned to you! 🧵(2/6).

Last week we improved our in-game report system, allowing you to potentially get pets & other items returned to your account after reporting a trade through your trade history! 🧵(1/6).

For anyone concerned about false reports against you, we don't ban a player without a human review of their activity, and any banned player has 30 days to appeal their ban and have their account re-investigated 🧵(4/4).

Any items returned this way will be untradeable, to avoid players abusing this system, but this will give you a way to get lost items back without the need to talk to an Adopt Me Support agent. 🧵(3/4).

When we ban a player as a result of trade reports, and after their appeal window closes, all the trades reported will be reversed, giving you your items back. 🧵(2/4).

We’ve implemented a change to Trade Reporting within Adopt Me!. Starting today, you will now receive messages in-game when we've banned a player as a result of your trade report. 🧵(1/4).

Additionally, we will never ask you for your username, password or any information that can be used to gain access to your account. Support doesn't need to sign into your account in order to assist you, and anyone claiming as such is attempting to hack your account.

As a reminder, our team will never contact you outside of our ticketing systems. Adopt Me Support doesn't have any accounts on other social media platforms, such as Discord servers, TikTok, etc. The only way to contact our Support team is through

We are aware of Discord Servers that are impersonating our staff members with the sole purpose of stealing accounts and scamming our players. We will never message our players on any social media platform in order to discuss an account moderation or ask you to join any servers.
