CBDCs or Stablecoins -- both belong on high performance & decentralized public networks. In this blog @vivekdeepg argues that while CBDCs can be issued on private networks they can & should be distributed on public networks -- complete with compliance, capital controls etc.
After building some of the largest Digital Currency projects in the world, I had an epiphany 🤯 CBDCs are stuck in pilot mode. Stablecoins are doing billions daily. What if we could unlock real adoption by distributing CBDCs on public blockchains like Solana/Ethereum? 🧵

6k tps. in prod, not theory. no fragmentation or bridging needed. the steady state of markets is that demand and supply are matched. if either side is artificially constrained that's a failure not a feature. sophisticated markets handle temporary surges in demand gracefully
