I met His Excellency Pengiran Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to the UK, today. 🇧🇳🇬🇧 We spoke about Brunei’s rich history, culture, and traditions, and of course, its wonderful food. His Excellency also shared insights from his career.

I met the Chargé d’Affaires (Incharge) of the Lebanese Embassy in London today🇱🇧. We spoke about politics, the Lebanese government and its outlook for the years ahead, as well as the important role an Ambassador plays in representing their country abroad. #Lebanon #Embassy

Last week, the High Commissioner of Guyana visited @MubarakMosqueUK in Tilford, Farnham. We toured the mosque, had lunch, observed prayers, & the HC was delighted at being granted an audience with His Holiness, the worldwide spiritual head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

I was honoured to attend and say a few words at the opening of the new extension at Woodlarks Care Home in Tilford today. It was wonderful to celebrate this achievement with residents, staff, and volunteers.

It was a pleasure to welcome Cllr Paige (Mayor of Petersfield), Cllr Hulbert, & Marcus McQuilton from @farnhamherald to @MubarakMosqueUK today. We spoke about the @Beaconof_Peace charity walk — raising £100,000s each year for local charities (a few of them held in Petersfield).

This evening I joined @WaverleyBC for their Council meeting, at the kind invitation of Mayor Cllr Rivers. I opened by reciting the first chapter of the Holy Qur’an & sharing a short reflection on its significance. Muslims recite this chapter ~32 times daily across the world.
