@FondaJLee Yes, I want more adult novels that are written like YA! I read so much YA because I love how it’s written, but I would like to read about middle age people as the MCs again.

@ThatAuntZelda @FondaJLee MORE SFF NOVELS STARRING TIRED MIDDLE AGED PEOPLE. this sounds sarcastic but it's super not, I just like stories centered around people who have been around the block once or twice and formed some definite perspectives.

To be clear, I'm NOT suggesting YA novels should become more adult. YA novels should, first and foremost, serve their intended teen audience. But I do think a lot of cool stories being stuffed into the commercial YA market would work better for me as adult novels.
