We’ve had a great spring. Privileged to show my boy what I do for a living. Ready for the clouds to drop some moister on us and get ready for silaging. #saskag

Working for a living is nothing new around here for these girls. Some of our strongest cows in a group still punching through the knee deep snow making a living. Condition continues to surprise through all the elements. Onto chaff piles in a week or so. #wintergrazing #saskag

Second pass grazing well on its way. The group is adjusting to the season long stand but hard to be greedy when your plate is full. Nice morning for a cow move. Appreciate the good moisture. #saskag #saskcattle

My boy Beau teaching his son that when the two legged guy gets on or in something so do they. Today he helped teach Gus to ride the sled out to the cows. I have a hard time leaving them behind. Guaranteed to need them when you don’t have them. #BorderCollie #loyal

Very welcoming drop of snow last night. Sure do enjoy the bunk blower on these snowy mornings before the trucks are fired up. Cows are moved onto fresh oat chaff piles and the sun came out. ☀️#saskag

Pretty proud of the girls toughing out just another one of mother natures curve balls. Holding condition like champs with a little help from the cold weather rations. Warmer weather starts tomorrow 🙏 #saskag

Sure do enjoy being able to drive around the cows in December. For the last number of years it seems like October was snow warning and November was winter and checking cows was on a snowmobile. #feedingseason
