Turned 28 today 🎉 Got myself a @Beelinkofficial mini PC, a new monitor, keyboard from @lofreeco, and mouse. Nothing fancy just investing in what I love most: building cool things. 💻💡 Big thanks to @dhh for the gift; @OmarchyLinux is wonderful 🙌

đź‘‹ @imthepk I noticed that when visiting https://t.co/esX1g9O9NY, the website redirects to another unrelated page. It seems like there might be a misconfiguration or domain issue. Just wanted to let you know so you can take a look and fix it if needed.

Why freezed, dart_mappable, and json_serializable still rely on build_runner ? For simple serialization, validation, equality, and copyWith, requiring a codegen step feels like overkill. Runtime solutions can be cleaner, faster, and contribution-friendly.

If you let AI write your code today just to avoid repetitive tasks, tomorrow you’ll end up paying subscriptions, and soon after, you might become addicted to it. Use AI to level yourself up, not to outsource the work humans are meant to do

I wish @dart_lang could render widgets directly from the server imagine the doors and possibilities that would open! Rich, dynamic UIs with seamless server method calls, no need for HTTP or gRPC. @_eseidel .

But not in doing the coding for you. Remember:practice makes perfect. If someone tells you that vibe coding or AI coding agents are“the future of 2025,”just know they see you as their customer, not as a developer. They’re shifting you from creator to consumer, for their own benefit.

For me, the real value of AI is in helping you learn and work smarter: explaining concepts, pointing you to the right documentation, showing you methods or attributes, or automating non-coding tasks like marketing, outreach, and maintaining your online presence.

Vibe coding is the worst thing I’ve seen. Don’t pay for any AI agent to do your work as a programmer. Saying you “want to go fast” or “avoid repetitive tasks” is just an excuse you can extract those repetitive tasks yourself for reuse.

Diving into @37signals Writebook code is a lesson in elegant Rails design clean scopes, smart metaprogramming, intuitive model methods like previous and next. Their code reads like a story, making complex features feel simple and reusable. This is how @rails should be written.

While working on the https://t.co/573czaaezd upgrade, I ended up writing my own Ruby DSL to establish communication between Flutter and Ruby. I can deliver a fully native app using only Ruby. My next step is to embed MRuby as the final glue,

For the Ruby community, it’s like waking up in the morning, writing your app, and deploying it all before your coffee gets cold. It’s that easy. Let me know if you’d like to see more content on backend development, deployment tips, or the full process.
