Wales manager Rob Page has called for his players to quickly regroup from their convincing 4-1 win over Finland as they prepare face Poland for a place at Euro 2024.

Wales are now just one win away from Euro 2024 after a convincing 4-1 win over Finland. It sets up a play-off final at Cardiff City Stadium next Tuesday against Poland, who were 5-1 winners in their semi-final against Estonia.

Rob Page: "We're in good form, most of the squad are playing football for their clubs, and training has been excellent. We have gone through similar experiences to qualify for the 2022 World Cup. But we're not underestimating the challenge."

David Brooks returns in attack to replace Nathan Broadhead, with Harry Wilson and Brennan Johnson also in the front three. At the back, Chris Mepham returns from suspension to take the place of Tom Lockyer.

Rob Page: "There are some real selection headaches for me, it's a good problem to have. It's probably the healthiest position we have been with in terms of players playing and playing well. At the top of the pitch we've got good problems."

Rob Page has named a 28-man squad for Wales' semi-final with Finland and possible play-off final. Wales face Finland at Cardiff City Stadium on Thursday, 21 March with a potential final against Poland or Estonia to follow five days later.

Wales have not finished bottom of the championship since losing all five games in 2003, but that is the prospect facing Gatland’s young side ahead of Saturday’s showdown against the Azzurri at Principality Stadium.

Gatland: "We said in the changing rooms afterwards we need to be better, especially in those big moments. We've got to front up next week in training and we know how important it is for us next week that we win."
