Adam Gibbons Sports Foundation was set up in 2008 in memory of Adam. His Foundation supports talented young sports men and women in Lincolnshire.

Last night we had the pleasure of meeting Swifts JFC who have received a defibrillator thanks to funding from the Foundation We’ve also funded defibrillators for FVA Jerusalem, Saxilby Athletic and Wainfleet United Juniors Thanks to @LincolnshireFA for making this possible.

Our last project as a charity

Congratulations to Lucy Guest who went to the Wild Water Canoe World Championships in Czech Republic last week and won bronze in the K1 classic event! The following day, Lucy won Gold in the team classic event and then a Bronze in the team sprint!

Both will use the funds to support and help young people into each club respectively who otherwise may not have been able to.

Although we haven't decided where exactly they will be situated, they will most likely be at sports clubs/centres in Lincolnshire. We will also be making substantial donations to Nettleham Cricket Club and the Lincoln City Academy.

In January, we posted that we were going to be bringing Adam's Foundation to a close. We can announce that with a majority of the remaining funds, we will be purchasing several defibrillator's through ABC First Aid Training.

It was great to receive an update yesterday from Holly Marshall who we supported in 2022. Holly made the final in 4 races at the British Championships in Sheffield where she set PB’s, won the British junior 200m backstroke final and also came 3rd in the 200m butterfly too. 🏊♀️

My season is up and running after 100m heats today at Coventry Spring Meet. Pleased with progress and lots to work on with return from injury. Finals tomorrow @ueasport @AdamGibbonsSF

will be the last to individual sports people. We do still have funds available that will be carefully invested in charities/organisations in Lincolnshire ensuring there will be a legacy in Adam’s name. Details on this will be announced soon.

In their chosen sport. When we began, we thought the Foundation would last 5 years but the love and support from friends, family, fundraisers and trustees have seen it grow and ensure Adam is remembered. However, we have decided that the donations that were made in November,

As you will have seen the other day, it has been 15 years since we lost Adam and almost 14 years since we made our first donation from his Foundation. Over that time, we have had the privilege of meeting and supporting hundreds of youngsters and their families from Lincolnshire
