What a game plan @CoachBeddow and great discipline from his players. What are we (the governing body of @gbbasketball and @bballengland) doing to help the best coaches in the country keep developing and keep them in the sport? Our future pro and national team coaches need more.

🤔Interested to see the standard of the EABL this season, (Yes cos I’m bitter) but also do think the league is going backwards from 3/4 years ago unfortunately. The EABL & what it was set up for could be an amazing thing for 🏀 in this country. Can we get it back to where it was?

💭Taking 12 players from 12 different clubs, with 12 different philosophies, playing styles, coaching styles, terminologies & standards is TOUGH, throw in that probably no continuity from previous NT played before & you get total 20 days prep. ITS HARD! Coaches that take it on 👏🏻

💭 I have had so many thoughts watching the GB youth teams this summer (like every summer). I want to be part of the solution but it’s very hard! Would love to sit in a room with everyone and sort this shit out! We could do so much better.

A good win for @gbbasketball U18W today 🇬🇧. Crazy to think I have been to 10 European championships now, 2 I have coached in and 8 to watch. Been to 6 countries, 8 cities, 5 different age/gender groups, 3 Div A. Need to get along to U20M next year I reckon.

🏀 🏆 National Award - Cristina Stanciuca ❗ Coach @nina_romania was awarded her BE Bev Guymon All Girls Inspiring Female of the Year award last night by the Crusaders Girls teams. We are very lucky to have such am amazing role model leading our girls programme. #WeAreCrusaders

- Lots of floaters & running bank shots missed today. Wonder if that is practiced as much as it’s shot in games. - Was great to sit amongst the Lions fans & feel a bit of atmosphere. - Will there be any cuts to the men’s team next season. - Close games in finals are the one!

💭Random thoughts from 🏀 finals today. - Why was there no scoreboard with fouls, timeouts, points etc inside arena. - Great to see so many large groups of schools & clubs attending. - Saw more NBA than British teams jerseys.(more football teams also) - Sound system was awesome.
