Robert Morris gave St. Bonaventure a run for its money for 35 minutes of Thursday's 75-61 loss. Turnovers and missed threes outshined most of the positives to come from the loss but it is a still a game that RMU can build off of as the season continues. https://t.co/HWQpjzw2z8

On a team that does not have consistent 3P shooters, Robert Morris needs Ryan Prather Jr. to find some consistency going forward. He is just 3-of-22 from three on the year after the loss to St. Bonaventure. He shot nearly 40% from behind-the-arc on 136 attempts a season ago.

Not a bad loss at all for Robert Morris. St. Bonaventure is a Top-120 Kenpom team (RMU is around No. 220) but still needed all 40 minutes to finally pull away. Josh Hill shined with a 19-point, 10-rebound double-double off of the bench. Definitely a game to build from for RMU.

Robert Morris managed to make it 55-52 after a 6-0 run but St. Bonaventure has responded with a 9-2 run over the last few minutes. Missed threes and recent foul troubles have crushed the Colonials’ chances. U4 | 3:23 | Bonnies lead 64-54

Josh Hill has been huge for Robert Morris so far. He is up to 19 points and nine rebounds as the Colonials are fighting. St. Bonaventure was up by as many as 10 points in the second half but its lead is down to just five. SBU timeout. U8 | 8:03 | Bonnies lead 55-50

Robert Morris is hanging in this one but needs another run or two to have a chance. Sr. Bonaventure is up to eight team fouls already so the Colonials will shoot free throws the rest of the way. U12 | 11:39 | Bonnies lead 53-44

Robert Morris’ leading-scorer Nikolaos Chitikoudis is starting to heat up after scoring just 2 points in the first half. St. Bonaventure still managed to extend its lead out to nine in the first few minutes of the second half. U16 | 15:29 | Bonnies lead 46-37

Robert Morris responded to the 12-0 opening run by St. Bonaventure well, going on runs of 8-0 and 7-0 down the stretch of the 1H. Josh Hill leads all scorers with 13 points while DeSean Goode has been solid with 6 points and six rebounds. The Bonnies lead 37-33. @RMUSportsNow

Robert Morris finds itself down by 10 points at the final media stoppage of the half. Game could be closer but the Colonials are just 2-of-10 from three. They have missed a couple of wide-open ones. U4 | 2:54 | Bonnies lead 33-23

After what I thought was some selfish possessions in the first few minutes, Robert Morris has done a nice job to get this game back down to a five-point game. Offensive rebounds have really helped the Colonials so far in this one. U8 | 7:46 | Bonnies lead 21-16

St. Bonaventure jumped out to a 12-0 lead but Robert Morris answered nicely after they settled in as the Colonials are on a 7-0 run themselves. DeSean Goode hauled in a pair of offensive rebounds which allowed the tides to start to shift. U16 | 15:08 | Bonnies lead 12-7

At home covering an intruiging matchup between Robert Morris (3-1) and St. Bonaventure (4-0). The Bonnies are coming off of an 84-80 win over Youngstown St. We will see if Andy Toole’s squad can come up with another non-conference road upset. Tip is in about 5. @RMUSportsNow

Robert Morris’ 64-62 win over Duquesne last night ended a six-game skid against the Dukes which dated back to the 2009-10 season. @ZacharyMWeiss was there, spoke to both coaches following the game and broke it all down in a recap. Read it here: https://t.co/3TQ42scmEJ

Pittsburgh Central Catholic ran away from North Allegheny very early on in the WPIAL Class-6A Championship. A big reason for the blowout win was the play of Roman Thompson who recorded three touchdowns, a sack and a near INT in the title game. https://t.co/ReOA5NMH3X

Pittsburgh Central Catholic dominated North Allegheny en route to the school's second-straight WPIAL Class-6A Championship. This marks the fourth-straight season, and fifth out of the last six years, that these same two teams have met in the title game. https://t.co/u0tgTYPMOi
