correction: 3-1 and then 5-5 would get us to 45-37. I suspect you'll need 46 or 47 wins to finish top 6. So still a lot of work to do and it's going to require beating some real teams.

Hawks really need to go 3-1 over these next 4 (very doable - @ DAL, @ HOU, vs GS, vs MEM) bc our final 10 games is one of the toughest stretches any team will play. If you can do that and then find 5 more wins from these 10 you finish 47-35. I *think* that would land us top 6

Obviously the goal is to get into the top 6, but regardless of that if the Hawks finish above .500 it'll be the first winning season since 2021-22 - and there's a ton to be said for that given the full context of how this season has unfolded

You can poo poo the winning streak because of the opponents, but they've won by an average of 18.8 points a game with their smallest margin of victory at 9. The schedule lined them up, and the Hawks have knocked them down.

if Hawks win vs Bucks tomorrow we will have done exactly this - problem is ORL & MIA got just as hot so we haven't gained any real ground in standings. It's still there for us though

If you believe "there's no such thing as bad publicity" then tbh Magic City Night could not have gone any better for the Hawks or Magic City. Neither entity has ever had this much national attention. Ever.
