The repair has been completed and our crew is slowly restoring the system to normal conditions. Customers may experience air (sputtering and cloudy water) or discoloration as flow readjusts. Everyone should have regular pressure overnight.

Main St. is closed for a water main break in the area of Post Office Square. Main St. north traffic will be detoured using Concord Rd. Main St. south traffic will be detoured at Great Rd. to Concord Rd. Customers may have little or no water or experience discoloration and air.

Level 2 Water Use Restriction (Effective 08/08/25) Our new permit conditions require us to monitor Nashoba Brook in North #ActonMA. The gage has remained above the 7-day low flow of 0.57 cubic feet per second (cu ft/s) for 7 consecutive days, allowing for eased restrictions.

A water main break has occured on Whittier Drive. A crew is responding to the location to begin repairs. The break happened at 6 am and will take take most of the day to repair. During this time you may have low or no water pressure and may experience discoloration.

TONIGHT (7/13), the Rt. 2 crossover at Piper/Taylor Rd. will be closed starting at 8pm. In coordination with @MassDOT & a local contractor, we hope to make the repair & resume normal water service before the morning commute. Some discoloration could happen on Monday morning.
