Had a great time subbing for @Aces_Baseball_ 16U at the @PastimeBaseball All Prospect Open Showcase in Indianapolis. Fun group of guys that welcomed me right in. We ended up getting 2nd going 5-2 and 3-1 in the games I was able to play. Weekend Stats:. 4-8, 2-2B, 3RBI, 5R, 3BB,

an anchor in the middle of our lineup all summer long. handles the left side of the infield well with the glove and has the bat to back it up. 3R is getting a good one.

5 singles and some stolen bases later and the Aces 15U has taken a commanding 4-1 lead in the championship game. Essner left the game in a 1-1 tie after throwing 4.2 innings of 1 run baseball. it’s nice to have the whole squad back and firing on all cylinders.
