I’m grateful to my father who has instilled in me an appreciation for religious pluralism and the belief that true justice is when I stand for the rights of others to practice their faith in the way they see fit. #religiouspluralism.
Qur’an 2:256 enshrines the practice of religious freedom for all, affirming “there is no compulsion in religion.” For far too long, we have seen how individuals manipulate religion to ensure conformity but it is undeniable that religious freedom is a right for all individuals.
