I finished a new page on seborrheic dermatitis. It is the red, scaly rash on the scalp and face that causes dandruff. You can usually get it to settle with over-the-counter dandruff shampoos if you know how to use them right. #dermatology

I have tried all of the shampoos over my 30+ years of having seborrheic dermatitis (#sebderm), and I can say hands-down, CeraVe Anti-Dandruff Shampoo is the best all around. It's just amazing! You have to try it. It's effective and a really good shampoo for your hair. @cerave.

I see a lot of dry eyes with Accutane. One of my Accutane patients was married to an ophthalmologist, so I was hoping to learn some tricks. He told her to fix her dry eyes, just stop the Accutane, so I had to figure out managing it with my patients.

Best case scenario is that the recommendations don't work (and they have less money), but SO MANY of my patients are left with an itchy, painful rash on their eyelids, cheeks, and lips called irritant dermatitis from doing too many irritating (and not effective) products.
