I know this feeling QUITE well; my kitty has been absent from me for 2+ months due to a perfect storm of me being seriously assaulted, facing sepsis, stolen phone/wallet (etc.), 3 surgeries, weeks on IV antibiotics, finally getting back home, “making peace” with it, you name it.

Anyone that may tell you I am conceited, even arrogant, #FromNowOn: if you can’t realize the sheer depths of mental/emotional/spiritual sludge I’ve had, and CONTINUE to have to, dig through...sometimes weekly/daily/HOURLY, just to FAKE. BASIC. CONFIDENCE? C’mon mane. #MissMe

I checked; I have now experienced nearly every major category of trauma (mental, emotional, spiritual, physical) and survived. Through it all I have done my best to put more good in the world than bad. So please, ladies, what do you really mean by saying I’m not on your “level?”

Did you know that simply replacing your cup of coffee in the morning with a refreshing glass of water can leave you both hydrated and in a terrible mood for the rest of the day?

I’m curious if any followers here have ever had surgical staples removed w/o sedation. I was recently hospitalized from a serious trauma, had it done twice & it was the single most pain I have ever felt in my entire 46 years, even w/ a dilaudid shot. 10/10 not endorsed.

False piety, in any form, is something I despise. I don’t care if you’re born again, a recovering addict, help the homeless or adopted a Haitian orphan. I’m sure your stories are harrowing and inspiring but if you detail every step, especially often, then you’re making a pitch.

The question is: are you real enough to admit when you’re fake, or do you try and perpetuate the appearance that you’re just always real?

I am not responsible for your expectations or assumptions about me when it comes to being a romantic partner; about my material success, my mental/emotional abilities, sexual prowess, whatever. All I can do is be honest with you from the start and try my best.

You know what #alone is? It’s pages of “friends,” but none of them talk to you. It’s weeks where the only calls you get are silenced for spam or “extended warranties.” It’s not a single “Hi” except from “horny women in your area.” This isn’t depression. It’s deep deep #sadness.

I lamented to a friend recently about the utter lack of people who are forthright, direct and honest. He said that it’s a byproduct of being raised in a capitalist society; people always looking for an edge over the next guy. That hit me heavy.

If anyone comes to you with some nasty story about how I did them wrong, consider that person’s character. Remember: “EVERYONE has an agenda.” If you do that quick little mental #doubletake, you ask yourself, “What does this person stand to gain by telling me this?”
