so one could assume he is still insane (And judging by his actions, he clearly is in some way), and he could possibly be more insane than Ice King judging by his much more extensive use of his ice magic. TLDR the Winter King has a LOT of missed potential, and this is my take!"

-something I believe is much more complex than any snow golem or penguin from the Ice King. One thing I'd like to highlight is his eyes. He has wizard eyes, which, obviously, he's an ice wizard, but what's interesting is magic ability is connected to insanity, -

The concept of a person with the Ice Crown freed of the Madness and Insanity it comes with is an incredible thing to expand on. He built a sophisticated kingdom completely of ice and trees. He was also able to create Ice Marcy, a seemingly sentient ice being,-

"Fern being trapped in the Undergrowth would be a sad fate for him. Even if it changed him for the better. Him interacting with other characters would be so sweet and heartwarming. Especially Finn."
