PTDO ASW(SO/LIC) Colby Jenkins also participated in @7thForces training, visited with members of the same team he’d led as a Green Beret, and reinforced the importance of history and legacy within #SOF.

Last week, PTDO ASW(SO/LIC) Colby Jenkins visited with @7thForces. During his visit, Mr. Jenkins visited Soldiers and learned about 7th SFG's training, capabilities, and modernization efforts. The visit highlighted the role and value of Army #SOF, @USASOCNews, and @USSOCOM.

On August 28, 2025, DASW Mike Buemi and DoW reps participated in DEA’s International Drug Enforcement Conference. DASD Buemi provided an overview of the DoW CN program & the support it provides to interagency and int'l partners working to disrupt drug-trafficking organizations.

This week, PTDO ASW(SO/LIC) Colby Jenkins met with @AFSpecOpsCmd leaders to review their mission and capabilities. This visit highlighted the role as the Air Force’s #SOF and their partnership with @USSOCOM.

This past Saturday, PTDO ASW Colby Jenkins joined The American Friends of Lafayette & The Doughboy Foundation for a ceremony celebrating the 268th birthday of the Marquis de Lafayette. Known as the "Hero of Two Worlds," Lafayette rallied French support to the American Revolution.

On Sept 5, @USSOCOM held a change of responsibility ceremony. Thank you to outgoing CSM Shorter for your leadership and service. Best wishes in retirement! Congrats to incoming CSM Krogman. We look forward to your leadership in guiding SOCOM in facing new global challenges.

In the future fight, advantage must be earned every day. The battlefield of tomorrow will be more complex, more contested & more ambiguous, and the Dept of Defense is committed to ensuring #SOF is trained & prepared win in that environment.
