Yesterday 8 Special Constables, after months of training, graduated at @ASPolice headquarters in front of friends and family. Special Chief Inspector Andy Turner-Adams presented the officers with their warrant cards and wished them well at the start of their policing career.

This weekend SCs Ian Ryan, Simon & Sophie have all been supporting @ASPWestSom attending various incidents including RTC, domestics, public order & making arrests for burglary, motor offences & possession of class A drugs. #CouldYou ? #SpecialContribution

SC Jamie in Radstock solo crewed. Dispatched to a number of jobs to back up regular colleagues. Dealt with; A domestic incident , Firearms incident , Road related incident ,Trespassing at a new build site , Mental Health incident and a High risk Missing Person. #couldyou

SC Ian was conducting speed checks over the weekend. Concentrating on Wedmore, Blackford and other rural areas where complaints of speeding motorists have been received by the public. Following the checks Ian undertook some foot patrols.
