Yesterday 8 Special Constables, after months of training, graduated at @ASPolice headquarters in front of friends and family. Special Chief Inspector Andy Turner-Adams presented the officers with their warrant cards and wished them well at the start of their policing career.

This weekend SCs Ian Ryan, Simon & Sophie have all been supporting @ASPWestSom attending various incidents including RTC, domestics, public order & making arrests for burglary, motor offences & possession of class A drugs. #CouldYou ? #SpecialContribution

SC Jamie in Radstock solo crewed. Dispatched to a number of jobs to back up regular colleagues. Dealt with; A domestic incident , Firearms incident , Road related incident ,Trespassing at a new build site , Mental Health incident and a High risk Missing Person. #couldyou

SC Ian was conducting speed checks over the weekend. Concentrating on Wedmore, Blackford and other rural areas where complaints of speeding motorists have been received by the public. Following the checks Ian undertook some foot patrols.

#SCIan has spent 2 days with Team 3 @ASPWestSom using his local knowledge to assist with a successful arrest of a wanted person, arresting a second person for breaching their sex offender conditions, taking statements from an affray & finally attending an RTC #couldyou

Last weekend @ASPWestSom was supported by SCIan, Paul, Simon, Graeme & Craig. Attending RTC’s, reports of drink drivers, inc a coach driver, safeguarding vulnerable persons & arrests inc 1 for arson with intent to endanger life & property. @ASPolice #SpecialContribution

Whilst supporting @ASPNorthSom last night, #SCHenry made an arrest for theft following a foot chase of the suspect who was on a bicycle.#NorthSomerset

SC’s across BANES took part in a day of action on Saturday providing 3 double crewed response cars to assist in responding to calls and working proactively to target ASB & road crime. A successful day working closely with our regular colleagues in Bath, Radstock and Keynsham. 🚔
