On this day in 2000, one of the final touches of the U.S. Army Airborne & Special Operations Museum was put into place, the iconic paratrooper in our lobby, suspended beneath a reproduction T-5 Main Personnel Parachute with its sweeping 28-foot camouflage canopy.
