The Measles-Rubella (MR) Integrated Planning Meeting with the LGA Chairman and LGA HPO was held today, 13th October 2025, at F and H Hall, opposite Bolori Roundabout, Maiduguri.

ASA Health Partners successfully conducted a one-day refresher training for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). The session aimed to strengthen their knowledge and skills, with a focus on the effective use of reporting tools to improve program implementation and accountability.

Together with our partners, we are strengthening awareness, early detection, and timely treatment—paving the way for a TB-free future for every child.

During the outreach, children and their families were screened, sensitized, and linked to essential TB services. This collaborative effort underscores our commitment to ensuring no child is left behind in the fight against TB.

The event was graced by the State Program Manager for TB, the TBLS of Potiskum, the State Agency for the Control of AIDS (SACA), and our dedicated Community TB Workers (CTWs) who are at the forefront of case finding in the community.

ASA Health Partners attended a step-down training on the operational modalities of the National Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) and Community Systems Strengthening (CSS) Plan. The training, organized by three networks; ACOMIN, the TB Network Nigeria, and NEPWHAN was cascaded.

The SNO commended the collective efforts of partners and urged continued collaboration to improve nutrition services for the state’s most vulnerable communities.

Partners were encouraged to align their planned activities with the 2026 Annual Operational Plan (AOP) and submit inputs by Saturday to meet the finalization deadline.

ASA Health participated in the monthly Nutrition Sector Coordination Meeting at the EOC, chaired by the State Nutrition Officer (SNO). The meeting highlighted the importance of all partners registering with the Nutrition Sector for proper documentation and coordination.

The visit focused on supervising PPM and Community TB/HIV activities across all 17 LGAs of yobe state, addressing gaps, and building a clear roadmap to strengthen collaboration with key stakeholders. Together, we are committed to improving TB/HIV services for our communities.
