25k subscribers on YouTube and yet they have at most 30 live viewers on their streams? I've seen channels with 1% of that subscriber base with more live viewers on their streams 💀
@SuperHeroSpeak decided to call us out, and they're an account that several have written in to us to cover. Most podcasts we've discussed on here have said some bad things, but this time bad = fraudulent behavior. Strap in... this rabbit hole goes quite a long way. (1/10)

If you're a #Podcast desperately trying to expand your reach... don't fall for a few things: - Posting a static YouTube video for your audio - Use paid services like Google Ads or Sprizzy (neither work) - Do Live Shows instead of editing Each one of these is LAZY. Do better.

@DoomGenPod Followers in almost no way reflect your audience. We're split between RSS and YouTube, so each has a different distribution method. There's plenty out there buying views, followers, and "promotion" services. So it's really up to you to decide what makes sense for you.

I am 100% sick of this behavior. If you're a podcaster trying to find new audiences you might want to take a chance at making supporting media and not follower ratio games that don't pay off. Make memes, create historical fiction about the coliseum, go for evergreen content.

DON'T mass unfollow people? I think some podcasters could learn a thing or two...
ACTION ITEMS You want your following to be max 60% of your followers If your ratio is off, DON'T start mass unfollowing people You can get banned for unfollowing people too quick Do this slowly over time

Podcasting tip: anyone who says not to worry about numbers or if you're podcasting to get listens you're doing it for the wrong reasons are people who get enough downloads that they don't have to worry about it. Who tf is out here intentionally podcasting for only themselves?

Crazy that there's no response whatsoever. https://t.co/Ip1doPu1mq Lewis has made disparaging comments towards people of color, women, and LGBTQIA+... deleting evidence along the way. @libsyn and anyone else considering celebrating him for an award needs to look closer.
